Understanding and responding to the transgender phenomenon
This is perhaps the most hotly debated issue of our time. Are transgender people ‘born that way’? How do we respond to a 5 year old girl who feels they are a boy? Should the church recognise ‘marriages’ of transgender persons? Should preferred gender status affect participation in society e.g. toilets, changing rooms…? These seminars will examine a biblical response to the foundational issues and how we can respond and engage as individuals and as the wider church.
