Facing ministry transitions
“There may not be a right time to go, but there is a wrong time to stay.” (Sir Terry Wogan). So what happens when a leader comes to the end of a formal ministry in a church, particularly retirement? What does a good transition look like – for the church and for the leader? When and how should planning start for this time? This seminar will explore some of the issues, and suggest some better ways of handling this huge challenge.
