Knowing the right time to ask a question, to give a response, or to just listen, can give us great opportunities to proclaim Jesus to our non-Christian family and friends. In this third session we will look at some tools and tactics to bring the gospel into our everyday conversations.
The first two sessions will look at the story of the different sons of God throughout biblical history, and even before it: God the Son himself in eternity, Adam in the garden and expelled from it, Adamic humanity as God’s offspring, Israel as God’s son, her kings as God’s sons, God the Son incarnate, and the redeemed as sons and children of God.
Our culture is increasingly unfamiliar with the bible story, and if we are honest, many of us are as well. What is the bible story? What are the essential truths we need to understand? What do we gain when we see God’s big picture? What do we lose if we don’t? Today’s special focus will be Genesis to Revelation.
Leadership is often challenging and demanding, requiring flexibility and the need to adjust to different stages in the life of a church. Growth will bring particular challenges for leaders and require them to work differently. This seminar will help leaders to meet these challenges so that their churches can be as effective as possible in advancing the Kingdom of God.
